Appointments & Referrals
The Melbourne Children’s Clinic is committed to providing a complete service to your child and family. This includes liaison with GPs, schools and Maternal and Child Health Nurses as appropriate. Your GP, Maternal and Child Health Nurse or school will be able to advise you regarding referral to the Melbourne Children’s Clinic.
A doctor’s referral is required prior to consultation with a paediatrician, specialist or surgeon but is not essential for psychology, speech pathology or dietitian.
A paediatrician is available Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 5.00pm to discuss acute referrals with G.P.s, and arrange urgent appointments if necessary

If you have an appointment to see a psychologist at our clinic, please download and complete the screening questionnaire and return it to our clinic via fax, post or email prior to your visit.
