Dr. Annette Webb

Paediatric Gastroenterologist • MBBS, FRACP

Annette graduated from the University of Melbourne. She first completed training in general paediatrics and then went on to do a further four years in gastroenterology training at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne. Annette has a public appointment at the Royal Children’s Hospital Gastroenterology Department where she runs the Irritable bowel clinic. She also has an appointment at Cabrini Hospital, Malvern where she performs private endoscopic services. She is board certified (Conjoint Committee for Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy) for paediatric endoscopy services. Annette is currently completing a Doctoral thesis through the University of Melbourne in the area of novel therapies (gut focussed hypnotherapy) for paediatric irritable bowel syndrome. Annette’s interests include functional gut disorders including irritable bowel syndrome, general paediatric gastroenterology (e.g constipation, reflux disease, celiac disease) and food allergies.
