Dr. Helen Chau

Helen is a Child and Educational Psychologist who specialises in the provision of assessment and management to children and adolescents with developmental disorders, including autism, Asperger's Disorder, ADHD, anxiety and oppositional defiant disorders. She had been a Psychologist at Specialist Children's Services for ten years. Helen has a special interest in providing education and skills training support for families who have young children with autism. She now also works in Monash Children's Hospital to supervise Masters degree students in Developmental and Educational Psychology. She has completed a PhD thesis at RMIT University comparing approaches and methods of early intervention for young children with autism and related disorders. Helen is a FaHCSIA provider with Helping Children with Autism Package.
