
Mr. Marinis Pirpiris

Marinis is a paediatric and adult orthopaedic surgeon who is trained in the management of deformities and dysplasia of the limbs, joints and spine. He trained in general orthopaedics in Victoria and completed a PhD at Melbourne University and the Royal Children’s. He then undertook a 3-year fellowship. This program included a period of 2 years in the management paediatric deformities at the Royal Children’s Hospital Melbourne, the Shriners’ Hospitals for Children in Los Angeles California and the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children in Dallas Texas. With a special interest in hip and knee dysplasia, paediatric and adolescent scoliosis, joint instability and cartilage transplantation he also operates at Cabrini Children’s Centre, Cabrini Medical Centre and the Epworth Hospital (Richmond and Box Hill campuses). His public appointments include Monash Medical Centre and the Royal Melbourne Hospital.
