Melissa Whitelaw

Melissa is a Clinical Paediatric Dietitian who also works at the Royal Children’s Hospital. As a former physical education teacher and mother of 3 adolescents, she has many years experience working with children, adolescents and their families. Melissa has been the RCH Adolescent Dietitian since 2004 and has a particular interest in working with the broad range of dietary issues in this age group.

As a paediatric dietitian, Melissa can also provide assessments and advice for nutritional and growth concerns, including special diets for infants and children. This year she has commenced a PhD with the University of Melbourne and will be researching eating disorders and obesity in adolescents.
