Mary-Kate is a specialist paediatric dietitian who has a broad range of dietetic clinical interests. These include fussy eating, growth concerns in infants through to adolescents, weight management, diabetes (Type 1 and Type 2), high cholesterol, vegetarian and vegan diets, coeliac disease, low FODMAP diets and constipation.
Background and Experience:
Mary-Kate is a clinical dietitian who also currently works at Monash Medical Centre with their Paediatric Endocrinology team. Mary-Kate is passionate about paediatric nutrition and has previously worked at The Royal Children's Hospital, Melbourne. Her years working in paediatric dietetics has seen Mary-Kate work across many clinical fields including general and respiratory medicine, cystic fibrosis, diabetes and endocrinology, developmental medicine, oncology and gastrointestinal conditions.
Mary-Kate’s practice is always underpinned by evidence-based, best practice. She believes strongly in the promotion of optimal nutrition and a healthy relationship with food and is committed to providing practical advice in order to achieve this. As a mother of two small children, Mary-Kate is passionate about optimal nutrition from infancy through to adulthood and is able to provide dietary assessment and analysis and subsequent age-appropriate education.
